課程概述:

In the trend of globalised justice, experts need to tackle issues involving various disciplines of knowledge and professional ethics.  There are daily problems evolving from a matrix of contextual factors of socio-political and cultural considerations needing legal solutions.  This is a disciplinary society in which professionals may get lost in tackling problems generated from other fields.  And, without interdisciplinary communications, law may become a problem itself rather than a solution to benefit other disciplines.  

The idea of this course is to cultivate students in various fields and countries to work together to tackle global issues involving law as the last resort.  In such interdisciplinary studies, law should be used as a tool for solving problems, rather than an authoritative knowledge to make people's lives difficult.   Also, English is adopted as a tool of communication rather than the purpose of teaching.  The English language should serve as the means to facilitate interactions in multi-lingual environments.  In international occasions, we need to use English because it is the most widely shared language for interactions.  For such a course to cultivate expertise with a global view, students from various countries should learn languages and cultures of each other, while using English (and perhaps broken English) as a common device for communication.

教學目標:

One major impact of globalisation on professional education is the need to cultivate experts who can work in collaboration to solve multi-dimensional problems in line with the call for justice.  Apart from interdisciplinary expertise, cultivation of professional ethics becomes crucial to serve the purpose of legal democracy.  This course is aimed to nurture students to become competent professionals who can work in an interdisciplinary team to tackle global justice issues.  The course leader shall first identify hot topics of global justice for students to find general information.  After sharing of information and knowledge under the lead of teacher(s), students of various academic and cultural backgrounds will be put into groups to work out major issues to be tackled re legal discipline and professional ethics.  The task of teamwork is to tackle interdisciplinary problems involving law as the last resort.  Students will learn to share expertise and manage problems in collaborative initiatives.  Cultivation of professional ethics will become a natural product of the training.

二、作業設計:

1.課前與課後問題思考:課前針對不同議題激發學生思考並記錄下學生意見與想法,課程結束後再次讓學生回答同樣問題,藉以比較課程教材洗禮後學生對議題省思角度之轉變。每週繳交課程心得報告300-500字,

2.針對議題設計學生問與答:運用教學平台線上針對主題及指定教材設計問與答,透過問題逐步推進方式帶領學生由至深思考議題。

3.開放性討論空間:藉由教學平台討論區功能讓學生可即時發表意見並提出問題,由教學助理協助回答學生問題。

4.正反雙方辯論:以主題舉辦課堂辯論,透過正反意見激盪思考並促使學生深入了解主題安排之立意,建立起學生面對生命與人性議題之素養與判斷力。分組準備辯論賽、討論會、圓桌論壇等資料及課堂發表。

5.問卷調查暸解學習狀況:每堂課後由助教協助進行問卷調查,透過問卷調查上學生反饋之意見調整課程進行中問題引導之深淺與難度,並透過學生即時之意見調整課程內容。

6. 學期繳交合作學習主題報告一篇

本課程所欲含括的基本能力以及具體課程目標:

1. 思考與創新:本課程採取問題導向與案例研習的教學方法,引導學生進行獨立思考與批判辯論,並藉由意見交流進行系統整合與創意革新的思考訓練。

2. 道德思辨與實踐:本課程針對全球化議題對於本土社會、文化的倫理道德性進行探索,進行明辨、慎思與反省,並學習在日常生活中實踐。

3. 生命探索與生涯規劃:透過思考與反省法律規訓對於生命制約的效果,引導學生主動探索自我價值與生命真諦。

4. 公民素養與社會參與:藉由對全球正義議題的討論,提升學生關心公共事務及參與民主討論的素養。

5. 人文關懷:在全球正義議題相關個案的討論中,學生必須以同理、關懷、尊重、惜福等新態觀察並分析問題。

6. 溝通表達與團隊合作:學生在合作學習過程中,可以訓練善用各種表達方式進行人際溝通與組織運作,以與他人共同完成課程目標。

7. 問題分析與解決:本課程針對特定議題,要求學生透過各種方式發現、解析問題,並各方蒐集整理可用資訊,以提出解決方案。
